Community-Service

If the court determines that you have insufficient resources or income to pay the fine and court costs, you may be eligi- ble to complete an assigned number of community service hours at a pre-approved location to satisfy fines and cost. An application must be made in person before the presid- ing judge, and the community service performed must fol- low the guidelines that have been set forth by the court and the State of Texas. You will be given a specific number of hours, and a time period in which they must be complet- ed, after your request has been granted by the court. ​
