Cliff Long currently serves in Place 1 on the City of Coppell Council.
Cliff holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Baylor University and a Masters degree in Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University. Along with his wife, Chris, Cliff operates Sovereign Mortgage Services, Inc. from its offices located in Coppell's Old Town. Sovereign is a provider of auditing and compliance support services to the residential mortgage industry. Cliff is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, former Certified Financial Planner and former board member and Past President of the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association. Cliff has lived in Coppell since 1991 and has been active in the community. He served on the city's Transportation Committee and the 2013 Bond Steering Committee for the Coppell Independent School District. Cliff is a member of the Coppell Rotary Club, served as a board member and is a Past Board Chairman of the Coppell Chamber of Commerce and is a Past President of the Old Town Coppell Association. Cliff and his wife have been married for 34 years and have three grown sons.
