Ones Upon a Time
Mondays at 10:30 am
A one-derful storytime for children 12-24 months of age and their adult caregiver. Short stories, music, rhymes, and movement activities are incorporated in this action-packed program that engages new walkers in language based activities.
Baby and Me
Mondays at 11 am
Babies from birth to crawling and their favorite adult will enjoy songs, action rhymes, and share books together in this one-on-one lapsit program. This storytime is designed to be a springboard for literacy, by exploring the senses with music, action rhymes, and age appropriate reading. Come prepared to have fun with baby.
Family Storytime
Tuesdays at 7 pm
All ages are welcome at Family Storytime, which incorporates stories, songs, rhymes, and more into a fun and interactive experience for the whole family.
Toddler Time
Wednesdays at 10:30 and 11:15 am
A storytime for 2 and 3 year olds (with their favorite adult) who are ready to sit and enjoy interactive stories, songs, and games that encourage their emerging language skills. This program will introduce young children to the joys of language and literature.
All By Myself
Thursdays at 10:30 am
Storytime for 3 to 5 year olds who are ready to attend independently. This storytime is designed to foster a smooth transition into school and is the only storytime that children attend without their adult caregiver. This fun and interactive program combines activities such as read-aloud stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays. It introduces children to listening skills, the library, and the joy of reading.
Second Saturday Storytime
Second Saturday of every month at 11 am
A special storytime presented to children of working parents and everyone who cannot attend regular weekday storytimes.
CHILDREN
Family Fun Night
Tuesday, December 13 at 7 pm
Join us for stories, songs, snacks, fun, and maybe even a special guest all the way from the North Pole! Don't forget your camera! All ages welcome.
Noon Year's Eve
Saturday, December 31 at 11 am
Ring in the New Year with a celebration! We'll have snacks, games, crafts, and a countdown to Noon! All ages welcome.
TEENS
Teen Study Night
December 12 - 14 from 6 - 9 pm
Looking for a place to study for finals? We'll open up the Program Room for group and individual studying. Study snacks and coffee will be provided. For teens in grades 9 - 12.

Coppell History Book Talk

Local authors, Jean Murph and Lou Duggan will be at the Library on Sunday, December 18 to discuss their book Coppell, Texas: A History. Through firsthand accounts with longtime residents and meticulous research, they tell the story of a complex and historic community. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Coppell Reads 2017
Get ready for Coppell Reads 2017! This year's selection is The Gratitude Diaries: How a Year Looking on the Bright Side Can Transform Your Life by Janice Kaplan. Pick up a free copy of the book (while supply lasts) at the Front Desk beginning January 3. In February and March, enjoy programs inspired by the book.

Cultural Programming Committee
Thursday, January 26 at 7 pm
The library has had our Festival of Nations program for nearly a decade, covering more than a dozen countries. We want to update this program to better serve our community and we want your input! We will have a meeting on Thursday, January 26 to discuss our past and current culturally diverse programming and talk about creating new programs for our community. This committee is open to the public and we welcome all ideas to help foster relations with our community. Please invite your friends and neighbors to this meeting.
