The City of Coppell participates in the Government Finance Officers Association award programs for both the Annual Budget and the CAFR. The City has received the award for the Distinguished Budget Presentation for 9 years in a row and the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 28 years in a row. Tax Rate
The current 2017 property tax rate is $0.57950 per $100 valuation. The sales tax rate is 8.25% with the City retaining 2%.
