Community-Service

If the court determines that you have insufficient resources or income to pay the fine and court costs, you may be eligible to complete an assigned number of community service hours at a pre-approved location to satisfy fines and cost. An application must be made in person before the presiding judge, and the community service performed must follow the guidelines that have been set forth by the court and the State of Texas. You will be given a specific number of hours, and a time period in which they must be completed, after your request has been granted by the court. ​
