The City has received the award for the Distinguished Budget Presentation for 9 years in a row and the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 28 years in a row. Tax Rate
The current 2018 property tax rate is $0.56950 per $100 valuation. The proposed property tax rate for 2019 is $0.58400 per $100 valuation. Two (2) public hearings will be held to receive public comment on the proposed rate:
- Tuesday, August 27, 2019 during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 3, 2019 during a special called City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m.
