​​​​​Please Note: As a result of the recent Declarations of Emergency issued by the Mayor of Coppell and Dallas County Judge, requests for public information have been suspended while City Facilties are closed under Texas Government Code Section 552.233. Click here for more information on the Attorney General's Catastrophe Notice​ or the City of Coppell's ​​​​​​​​​submission.​

If you are an attorney seeking documents for your client, please complete this Authorization Form​ and submit it with your request.

A Request for Public Information can be submitted to the city in several ways. The request must include name, address, daytime telephone number of the requestor and the documents or items requested.

**NEW** For building permits, plans or inspections, click here to search the database. If you do not find the document you are needing, please complete the form below.

The request can be submitted in one of four ways:

  • Personal appearance in the ​City Secretary Department, Second Floor, Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas.
  • Via U.S. Mail to the City Secretary Department, City of Coppell, P. O. Box 9478, Coppell, Texas 75019.
  • Via Fax to the City Secretary Department, 972-304-3673, Attention: Christel Pettinos
  • Via an online Request for Public Information Application below.

**Please note: In an effort to respect turnaround time and efficiencies, please be as specific as possible in the description of the requests. Please include report numbers, names, locations or defined code violations, such as the following:
