the Library is closed until further notice.

Calling all aspiring artists and designers ages 5 - Adult! The Cozby Library and Community Commons is seeking creative bookmark designs for this year’s Summer Reading 
Challenge! Entries accepted starting Wednesday, April 1 and must be received by May 10. The winning bookmarks will be professionally 
printed and distributed during the Summer Reading Challenge. ​If you are unable to print the submission form, draw a 2 in x 7 in rectangle in black sharpie and then draw your design within it. Once we reopen you can fill out the submission form and turn in with your bookmark. Email CozbyPrograms@coppelltx.gov with any questions.​
Contest may be changed or canceled due to the library being closed and recommendations from the CDC and the City of Coppell​.

While we are closed, we would like to continue sharing our storytime themes to give you inspiration for reading with your kids. Reading aloud to children of any age has numerous benefits, such as building empathy, increasing vocabulary, and facilitating a lifelong love of reading. Plus, it's a fun way to spend time together! ​Visit our Instagram page every weekday for new crafts, stories, and songs to share with your kids. We would love to see how you are doing storytime at home. Share your pictures of crafts or reading together with us on social media. ​

Readers include Viola Davis, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Costner, Annette Bening, James Earl Jones, Betty White and dozens more.
