​​Youth Sports​

  • ​Park open spaces remain open
  • Pathways/trails remain open
  • Restroom facilities at Andrew Brown West Soccer, Andrew Brown East, and Wagon Wheel Soccer Barn are open to the public. The facilities will be cleaned and stocked daily with hand sanitizer/soap.
  • The Old Town Square restrooms will open to the public on Farmers Market Saturdays only and will be cleaned/stocked daily with hand sanitizer/soap.
  • Waggin' Tails Dog Park will remain closed until such time that the CDC revises recommendations.
  • Drinking fountains at all Parks will remain off until such time that the CDC revises recommendations.  
  • Playgrounds remain closed until such time that the CDC revises recommendations.
  • Outdoor sports may be played with four or fewer participants. 
  • Outdoor basketball and sand volleyball courts remain closed.
  • Outdoor boot camps are permitted but must comply with the most recent criteria for outdoor activities.
  • ​Andrew Brown Park East is open to the public. Strict social distancing guidelines must be followed. No large gatherings permitted. No rentals or social functions at the Grand/Boardwalk/Phillips/Kid Country pavilions will be permitted.  
  • Andrew Brown Park West is open to the public. Strict social distancing guidelines must be followed. No large gatherings permitted. No rentals or social functions at the Courtside/Soccer pavilions will be permitted. 
  • Wagon Wheel Park is open to the public. Strict social distancing guidelines must be followed. No large gatherings permitted. No rentals or social functions at the Falls and Wagon Wheel pavilion will be permitted.  


We are unable to disinfect park equipment and furnishings in a manner to totally eradicate the potential spread of COVID-19. We urge you to continue to practice social distancing measures when in the parks or on the trails. Users must follow the No Gathering guidelines and maintain 6 feet of space from others. ​

Adult Sports

The Coppell Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of athletic programs throughout the year for adults. Register for all adult leagues at www.coppellactivities.com

Basketball
Adult Men’s Basketball leagues are offered during the Summer and Winter seasons. Games are played at The CORE, located at 234 E. Parkway Blvd.

Sand Volleyball
Co-ed Sand Volleyball leagues are offered during the Spring and Summer seasons. Games are played at Andrew Brown Park West, located at 363 N. Denton Tap Rd.

Game Times​​Wednesday evenings, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM​                                Fee              $200/team ​​​​
UniformsAll players on each team must wear jerseys that are matching in color​

Softball

The Adult Softball league is offered during the Summer. Co-ed and men’s recreational leagues are available. All games are played at the softball complex in the Andrew Brown Park Central, located at 364 N. Denton Tap Road. Games will be scheduled throughout the week depending on league type. The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) will govern all game rules. Teams will play 7 regular season games with the top four teams advancing to a single elimination tournament at the end of the season.

Season​Summer 2018 - Dates: June 4 - August 23
​Game Times​6:30 PM - 10:30 PM                                 ​Fee              $395/team 
EquipmentTeam should provide one game ball per game and must be stamped “ASA Approved” with a .52 core and .300 compression. Any bat can be used, as long as, it is not on the ASA "banned bat list". Coed leagues should supply one Male, 12" ball and one female, 11" ball.

Kickball

Adult Co-ed Kickball leagues are offered during the Summer season. All games are played at Andrew Brown Park Central.

Free-Agents
If you would like to participate in Adult Athletics but do not have a team, go to www.teamsideline.com/coppell​ and click on the Free-Agent Sign Up link and on the left-hand side.  This allows you to be placed on a list to be contacted by a captain or the coordinator.  There is no guarantee that free-agents will be placed on a team.
