Clean Coppell

Take an active role in cleaning up Coppell streets, parks, and neighborhoods! This year around program, encourages community groups from all around town come together to do litter cleanups and beautification projects. In the past, residents hosted dozens of litter clean-up, spruced up fences, pulled weeds, and handed out plant starts. Getting involved is easy! If you have a project that will make our community cleaner and greener, fill out this request form to have the City of Coppell sponsor your supplies. For further questions, please reach out to kcb@coppelltx.gov.

Organize a litter cleanup - Choose a location where you notice a need and fill out a request for clean-up supplies.  We will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash pickers upon request. You can do this year-round, but t-shirts will be provided for groups that participate in the annual April event which contributes to a nationwide effort, the Great American Cleanup. Clean Coppell volunteers that wear their t-shirts to Earthfest get a free treat!

Organize a beautification project – Be creative! If you have a project in mind and the people willing to do it, you can submit an application to have KCB sponsor the supplies. The project should benefit the community through preservation or beautification. Some ideas include:

  • Planting a monarch waystation to attract butterflies
  • Restoring shared gardens such as community or school gardens.
  • Helping an elderly or disabled neighbor meet code requirements for their yard.
  • Graffiti removal

KCB Teen

KCB Teen is an opportunity for students, ages 14-17, to assist Keep Coppell Beautiful during January-May and August-December in planning and implementing KCB programming. In 2019, the KCB Teens planned a litter clean-up, created an Earth Day planting activity for elementary students and hosted educational outreach at the farmers market to educate visitors on the importance of bees. Share your passion for the environment and gain valuable resume experience by contributing to this teen volunteer group.
