​Interested in Reserving a Meeting Space?

Room occupanices are reduced to 50% capacity, and remain subject to current CDC and State health & safety precautions.​ Thank you for your patience and understanding!

**Please read the requirements and procedures below first before submitting a reservation request or making inquiries.**

Requirements for Space Reservations:

  1. ​Requesters must be residents of Coppell and/or a representative of a business that operates within Coppell city limits; photo identification may be required.
  2. Requesters must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. Reservations must be placed at least one week (5 business days) and no more than six months in advance of your requested date.
  4. Spaces within Life Safety Park are available, pending availability and holidays, during weekday normal business hours--Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  5. Use of space within the Life Safety Park is free of charge; however, we require that you devote 10 minutes at the beginning of your meeting for your group to learn a life safety lesson taught by LSP staff.
  6. Life Safety Park is not responsible for providing or facilitating refreshments, catering, or other such arrangements for your meeting.
  7. Requesters are responsible for returning rooms back to its original condition, which includes rearranging tables into rows, wiping down surfaces, and removing excess trash.
  8. Multiple/Consequent booking is not permitted: you must complete your most upcoming meeting before making future reservations.
  9. Space availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is subject to change without notice.
  10. Life Safety Park reserves the right to alter or cancel reservations, confirmed or otherwise, at the staff's discretion. Every effort will be made to make re-accommodations.

Procedure for Meeting Space Requests:​

  1. Please browse the below list of spaces that are offered as meeting spaces, and determine your preference based on your group's needs.
  • Note the specific requirements under each space description.
  • Fill out and submit the request form, found below, at least one week (5 business days) prior to your requested reservation date. 
  • Life Safety Park staff will contact the applicant regarding the reservation request within 2 business days via email or phone. Your request will either be approved, placed on a hold, or denied. 
  • For requests placed on hold or denied, staff will contact the applicant to discuss possible alternatives.
  • Applicants must contact Life Safety Park staff via email or phone at least 24 hours prior to your meeting date if the request must be cancelled. Violations of this cancellation policy may result in the denial of future meeting space requests by the violating persons/organizations.
  • Please note any special accommodations or additional assistance requests on your form; every effort will be made to make such accommodations.

    ​CLASSROOM A ​

    Classroom A is for smaller groups and trainings, and provides a more intimate learning environment. This space is equipped with:
    • Comfortable, movable tables and chairs, seats up to 30
    • Cushioned floor mats available for smaller visitors
    • Projector and screen, with presentation capabilities
    • Wall-mounted white board and/or movable white board/easel (if available)
    • No food or drink (except bottled water) is allowed in the classrooms

    ​ ​CLASSROOM B

    ​Classroom B is designed for larger gatherings, providing a comfortable and relaxed learning environment. This space is equipped with:
    • Comfortable, movable tables and chairs, seats up to 60
    • Cushioned floor mats available for smaller visitors​
    • Two projectors and screens, with presentation capabilities
    • Wall-mounted white boards and/or movable white board/easel (if available)
    • No food or drink (except bottled water) is allowed in the classrooms

    ​ENTIRE CLASSROOM SPACE (BOTH A & B) ​

    ​This combined space is ideal for corporate trainings, large scout/pack meetings, and other events needing an expanded classroom-style arrangement. This space is equipped with:
    • Comfortable, movable tables and chairs, seats up to 90
    • Three projectors and screens, with presentation capabilities
    • Wall-mounted white boards and/or movable white board/easel​ (if available)
    • No food or drink (except bottled water) is allowed in the classrooms

    ​ ​TRAIN STATION (FORMERLY THE MULTIPURPOSE ROOM)

    ​The Train Station offers classroom space external to the main building, located in Safety Town. It can be booked for meetings, classes, and other functional gatherings. The building is equipped with:
    • Comfortable tables and chairs, seats up to 30
    • A large, 80" monitor with presentation capabilities
    • Movable white board/easel (if available)
    • A small kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, and 14 cup​​ coffee maker; and,
    • Its own single-occupancy bathroom facility
    • Food and drink are allowed in this space

    If you have a question regarding our meeting spaces, give us a call at 972-462-5371, or send an email to LSP@coppelltx.gov​ with your inquiry, and a Life Safety Park representative will return your message within 24-48 hours.​
