 The City of Coppell is working closely with community partners, including Coppell ISD, to keep the community informed regarding our 2020 Special Events. There have been some impacts on our scheduled events, but we are still hosting revised events with the safety of our citizens in mind. This is a rapidly evolving situation, and updates will be made as new information becomes available.​

FALL 2020 SPECIAL EVENTS

KALEIDOSCOPE VIRTUAL CELEBRATION

Thursday, October 1 - Saturday, October 31

Participate in a virtual celebration of the Coppell community! This year, Kaleidoscope: A Celebration of Art and Cultures will be observed virtually throughout the entire month of October. The event’s virtual platform showcases the unique community fabric in Coppell, and this year residents contributed to the celebration! Visit our Kaleidoscope webpage to learn more about the different cultures represented in Coppell and find regional showcases of different regions around the world! ​




HALLOWEEN CANDY CRUISE: DRIVE THRU TRICK-OR-TREAT

Saturday, October 24, 4 - 6 pm

Parking Lot at the Coppell Senior and Community Center, 345 W. Bethel Rd.

Roll into Halloween with a sweet ride through our Candy Cruise! Join City of Coppell departments, local businesses, and organizations for this new twist on trick or treating! Remain in your vehicle and drive through the parking lot at the Coppell Senior and Community Center and receive pre-bagged treats (while supplies last). There will be an optional photo opportunity at the end where families may briefly exit their vehicles. Social distancing guidelines will be in place. All candy distributors and drivers must wear a mask.

SUNSET SOCIAL DISTANCING: VIRTUAL TRIVIA NIGHTS

Fridays in September!

Do you have a knack for remembering random bits of information from pop culture and beyond? Do you consider yourself an expert on all things Harry Potter or Disney? Grab your virtual seat for our newest twist on an old favorite! The City of Coppell presents Sunset Social Distancing: Virtual Trivia Nights. Registration is free, you just have to bring your wits (and snacks) with you. 




COPPELL'S GOT TALENT

Monday, August 10 - Sunday, August 23

Hey, Coppell, do you have talent? Can you sing or dance? Has your family perfected the latest Tik Tok craze? Maybe you can hula hoop longer than anyone you know. If so, we want to see you show it off in our first-ever virtual talent show, Coppell’s Got Talent! It’s easy to participate. All you have to do is film your talent (all ages welcome, so videos must be family-friendly) and email it to parks@coppelltx.gov now through Thursday, August 20. Videos should be no longer than two minutes.
