Importance of an Inclusive Community FabricOne of the key elements of the 2040 vision and plan is the notion of inclusion. This was highlighted by the concentration of responses for the Preferred Future in the scenario quadrant called ‘Smart Inclusion.' The Coppell Think-Tank, held in June 2018, highlighted the critical importance of the community evolution, as one of the main themes shaping the future of the community. Within Coppell, there is a desire to accomplish two main community objectives. These are to retain the ‘Community Oasis’ feel, and simultaneously create an ‘Inclusive community fabric.’
2040 Goals:
- Celebrate Coppell's Cultural Growth
- Establish events and programs that foster inclusion and celebrate diversity
- Purposefully break barriers to inclusion
- Promote socialization and community cohesiveness
