Holiday Ambassadors
With many malls and shopping centers shuttering their doors, Santa knows he might not be able to see as many kiddos in person this year, so the Cozby Library and Community Commons has volunteered to be a Letter Drop-off location for Mr. Claus! Santa has set up a holiday mailbox where Coppell children can mail their gift wishes to the North Pole, at the Cozby Library. Santa will also be making an appearance virtually at the Library for a Christmas Q&A where he will respond to children’s holiday questions.
It's the most festive time of year and Coppell is pulling out all the stops for the 2020 Holiday Season.
Fa La La La Lights & Display Contest
Deck your homes with rows of lights! Coppell homes and businesses will celebrate the holiday season by decorating their home, yard, or storefront for the City of Coppell's first-ever holiday lights competition.
Beginning Friday, December 4, come back here to view the virtual map to find locations of registered participants. Plan a walk or drive around neighborhoods to see the lighted displays and share in the celebration.

Annual City of Coppell Holiday Scavenger Hunt
Monday, November 30 - Monday, January 4
Holiday fun is hidden all over the city! Back by popular demand, the annual Holiday Scavenger Hunt runs from November 30 to January 4, 2021. Solve the clues and find each of the five holiday ambassadors hidden around town, pose for a photo with each, and then
upload your pictures and schedule an appointment to claim your prize (while supplies last)! Share the fun with your friends and family by uploading your photos to social media with the hashtag
#CoppellHolidays. Be sure to tag the City of Coppell on
Facebook,
Instagram and
Twitter. There are multiple holiday-themed ambassadors hidden around Coppell, but only a special few will earn Coppell's holiday enthusiasts a prize, so consider the clues carefully!
The week of November 30, one clue will be posted daily to the City's
Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. After a clue is posted, take a look around the city, find the holiday ambassador and pose for a photo with it! The first 100 participants to snag a picture with each of the five holiday ambassadors and
submit images online will win an EXTRA special prize!
Participants have from November 30 through January 4, 2021 to pose with the special holiday ambassadors.
Make a Child Smile
For more than 20 years, the Coppell community has come together to Make a Child Smile by donating gifts to deserving children in Coppell ISD. Though many things may have changed this year, the community's dedication to assisting residents in need has not. To help ensure that the spirit of giving continues to flourish, while also protecting the health and safety of residents, the City of Coppell has announced a makeover to this year's Make a Child Smile program.
