September 1, 2017 The City of Coppell's Division of Emergency Management is participating in September's National Preparedness Month. Established in 2004 by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Preparedness Month encourages Americans to take steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, schools and communities. Look out for Emergency Management Staff at educational tabling events listed below, or check out our educational preparedness hub all month at Cozby Library and Life Safety Park. Life Safety Park Now Registering School Field Trips! August 28, 2017 The Life Safety Park is now opening registration for Coppell ISD and area educators to book class field trips. Classes include Motor Vehicle & Pedestrian Safety, Basic Emergency Services, Fire & Life Safety, and Severe Weather & Emergency Preparedness. If you are a CISD/area educator: go to www.LifeSafetyPark.org and click on "Register Here" to view available field trip dates and reserve your spot. If you are a parent: talk to your child's teacher if interested in having their class scheduling a visit. |
