TAX 2014C TOWN CENTER BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
The week of December 11th, a portion of Town Center Drive, from Denton Tap Road to the intersection of Town Center Boulevard will be closed to traffic for Phase 2 of construction, which will include pavement reconstruction, utility upgrades and sidewalk infill.
All businesses in this area will remain open during the project and will be accessible via driveways on Town Center Drive, Denton Tap Road and the Town Center Shopping Center.
The construction plans for Town Center Boulevard will also include a Phase 3, which will be announced at a later date. The entire project is expected to be complete by late Spring 2018.
The project was awarded to Quality Excavation in the amount of $1,002,311.25

TAX 2016A NEIGHBORHOOD ALLEY REPLACEMENT PROJECT #3
Selected neighborhood alleyways were chosen to be reconstructed based on pavement study results. Impacted alleyways are associated with Woodhurst Place North & South, Willow Springs Drive, Park Meadow Way and Glenwood Drive. Construction is scheduled to start in late summer 2017 and is anticipated to be complete in late spring 2018. This project was awarded to IIPL USA, LLC in the amount of $847,300.00. NORTHERN CAMPION TRAIL EXTENSIONPROJECTS IN DESIGN
#ST 15-01A FREEPORT PARKWAY, (BETHEL RD TO I-635)
A design contract for Freeport Parkway improvements was awarded to J. Volk Consulting in December 2015 for a total contract amount of $726,000. The design will include all work necessary for the reconstruction of the road and a realignment of the existing bridge. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2017.

A design contract for the Parkway Blvd. improvements was awarded to J. Volk Consultants, Inc. in August 2015. The project consists of concrete panel replacement, crack repairs, utility upgrades and sidewalk ramp improvements. The project will also improve drainage. Construction is anticipated to begin spring 2018.

TAX 2015B PLANTATION DRIVE AND MOSSY OAKS STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
The design for these improvements is currently underway with Pape-Dawson Engineers. The project will impact the entire length of Plantation Drive and Mossy Oaks Street. The project includes complete pavement reconstruction and utility upgrades. Construction is anticipated in FY 2019-2020.

TAX 2016B AIRLINE DRIVE
A design contract for the reconstruction of Airline Drive was awarded to Kimley-Horn in summer 2017. The project consists of concrete replacement, utility upgrades and sidewalk improvements. The project will also improve drainage. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2019.

TAX 2017A NEIGHBORHOOD ALLEY REPLACEMENT PROJECT #4
A design is under way for the alley replacement project. The project consists of complete alley replacement in the project area. The project will also improve alley drainage. Construction is anticipated to begin in late fall 2018.

5. CONTROL JOINTS ARE SAWCUT AND SEALANT IS APPLIED TO EXPANSION JOINTS, IF ANY
