MCKENZIE EVANS

Fitness Experience:
McKenzie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University in 2001.  She began her career as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab at RHD Memorial Hospital in Dallas.  From there she furthered her knowledge in the field of health, fitness, and rehab at The Carter Rehab & Fitness Center at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth.  She was introduced to Stott Pilates, TRX Suspension Training, and Functional Training during her time at S2S Functional Performance in Lantana. She has been teaching and training at The CORE since September of 2013.

Fitness Philosophy:
McKenzie wants to help others obtain an optimum quality of life and reach their specific health and fitness goals. She is very passionate about Functional Training, TRX, Pilates and High Intensity Training.

​SHARON TUGGLE​

Fitness Experience:

Sharon has been in the fitness industry since 1996 and holds several training certifications. She specializes in body sculpting, muscular endurance, and aerobic training. She holds fitness certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Irvine Valley College. Sharon volunteered at Irvine Medical PAR Center.She has several specialty recognition certificates in exercise for populations with heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and respiratory disease. Some of her most recent certifications include: Barre Above certification in 2015 and Bosu certification in 2001. Some of her past experience includes: Spinning and Aquatics instructor, Gaylord Texan fitness instructor for several employee Get Fit Boot Camps. She is currently training at the Coppell Senior Center and working as an on-call massage therapist at the Gaylord Texan Resort. She has been training and teaching at The CORE since October 2014.​

Fitness Philosophy:
Sharon’s mission is to provide motivation, support, and knowledge that will assist clients in reaching their goals or health needs. She has made fitness a part of her life, and her goal as a personal trainer is to inspire others to be successful in attaining a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Catherine Rixford.jpg

CATHERINE RIXFORD
Fitness Experience:

Catherine's first certification was through the Cooper Institute in 2005.  She now holds certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, including Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist.  She has over 12 years of experience as a Personal Trainer. 



Fitness Philosophy:
Catherine wants her clients to achieve their fitness goals by helping them build a strong foundation in knowledge, form, and technique to achieve maximum results.  She believes in training that increases both short-term and long-term health and wellness for each client.
