​Payments by mail may be made in the form of check or money order only, NO CASH PLEASE. If you choose to mail your fine, the copy of your citation must accompany the payment. You must complete the appearance plea of Guilty / Nolo Contendre in the waiver section at the bottom of the citation. A plea must be made on each charge. Your check will serve as your receipt. No receipts will be mailed. Checks should be made payable to the City of Coppell.

The Coppell Municipal Court does NOT handle Redflex notices (Automated Red Light Enforcement / Photographic Traffic Signal Enforcement). If you have received a notice from Redflex, you should consult the notice for information on how to resolve. Customer Service Center 1-866-527-9470.

​You are entitled to request evidence material to any matter involved in your case.  Requests must be made at the Coppell Police Department before a Guilty or No Contest plea is entered or the fine is paid. By your Guilty of No Contest plea and payment of the fine, you decline to request the evidence.

Payments made without requesting for Deferred Disposition or Defensive Driving will result in a final conviction. If payment is made on the web, you can not be given the Deferred Disposition or Defensive Driving option. Contact the court clerk for options (972) 304-3650.   

CONVICTION OF AN OFFENSE UNDER A TRAFFIC LAW OF THIS STATE OR POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THIS STATE MAY RESULT IN THE ASSESSMENT ON YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE OF A SURCHARGE UNDER THE DRIVER RESPONSIBILITY PROGRAM.​
