The Building Inspections Department requires building permits for all commercial or residential construction or demolitions in the City of Coppell. All permit requests and fee information may be obtained online or from the Building Inspections Department located at 265 E. Parkway Blvd., or by calling 972-304-3500, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm.
All building permits or a copy thereof shall be posted on the site. Permits shall be posted in a conspicuous place visible from the street.

APPLY/pay FOR PERMIT ON-LINE
(We are currently not accepting permits and payments on-line. This feature will be available the first week of November 2016 while we test and implement a new software program to accomodate the permitting process. Please contact the Building Inspections Department at 972-304-3500.)
You may also print out the Permit Application and then submit the permit and other forms required to the Building Inspections department.
