​NOTICE: Early voting by personal appearance can be conducted anywhere in the county of the registered voter. Dallas County allows for countywide voting on election day. ​Denton County registered voters must vote in their precinct (3022/3023)​ on election day. Masks are highly recommended in the polling place. Should a voter not have one available when voting at Town Center, a temporary mask will be provided.


​​November 3, 2020 General Elections:

On March 18, 2020 Greg Abbott, the Governor of Texas, issued a proclamation suspending Sections 41.0052(a) and (b) of the Texas Election Code and Section 49.103 of the Texas Water Code to the extent necessary to allow political subdivisions that would otherwise hold elections on May 2, 2020, to move their general and special elections for 2020 only to the next uniform election date, occurring on November 3, 2020, without otherwise adjusting the term of office.


On March 24, 2020, the Coppell City Council voted to CANCEL the election for Council Places 1 and 7 and to POSTPONE the May 2, 2020 General Election until November 3, 2020. Resolution 2020-0324.1 (Spanish)

The last day to register to vote for the November 3, 2020 Election: October 5, 2020​​.

​​Early voting for the November 3, 2020 Election will be: October 19-30, 2020.
The last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail: October 23, 2020​.​
